Hey Everyone.

Yes.. It's been a while. First I was sick, then I got better - and now I'm sick again.
But I still have some exciting news to tell you!

My group, The Fireflies, is comming out with a new musicvideo soon to our new single "The Worst Part". And we want our fans to be a part of it!
So if you wanna be in our new musicvideo all you have to do is filming you, and maybe your friends, singing, dancing or just having fun to our new single "The Worst Part". I gotta say to you... this....

I promised you to make a cover of a Chritmas song this year. But now I have been sick for 12 days. I really hoped I could make it before the 24. But no... My voice is totally out of tune, and there is nothing to do :( So so so sad!!
I hope you forgive me some day!!

But aftere New Year when my voice is back to normally again, I'm ready with some new covers. Can't wait to show you.

So.. now we're a couple of days in December. And everything is so wonderful in this month.

Hi. The day has finally been here. This Monday our (The Fireflies) lbum came out this day. It's an amazing feeling finally to hold it in my hands.

I hope you have enjoyed the song and the video to “25 Signs”. We’ve got a lot of good responses on the song – so great. This weekend I have been practicing the songs on our future album (coming out October 18) with Julia and Mathilde. In the beginning of the next year we are going on a small tour here in Denmark. I’m really excited for that. I’ve never been on a tour before!!

Aaaand… There is only 34 days till I turn 19! Jubii.

Guess what.. Yes.. I really did made a cover of a boyband-song. But I’m still working on the other artists I described! To be honest I love boybands! They are just so exaggerated in a really good way. Definitely. I mean.. they look great and they sing great. How much more does a girl want? Hey guys..

I'm so proud to show you this. This is my group The Fireflies who is singing to a town festival in a city called Randers. This is one of the songs we sang.
It's a really cool song, and we really enjoy singing it. It is filmed by my manager and his iPhone ;)
From the left it is: Me (Henriette), Mathilde and Julia. Look how lucky I am to be in a group with two girls who sings so b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!

I can also inform you that our album has realease in October 18!!!! So excited.
Most of the songs is produced på Carsten "Soulshock" Schack, who was our judge in The X Factor :) He does amazing stuff and has worked with hugh stars!! And now he is OUR producer. So cool!! You should check him out here on Wikipedia:

... that they wanted some updates. So here it is! :)

First some updates about Fireflies: We are working on how our album-cover is going to look. And what our album-title should be. And there isn’t really long time to the album-realse (October)!!!!! Wuhu.

And then some updates about just me: I am working on 4-5 different songs actually. Can’t really decide which of them I want to make a cover of first, so I’m just practicing them all. It is songs by JoJo, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey and Pink. They’re all REALLY good artists. I’m a big fan of all of them!!

First I want to say, that me and the two other girls in The Fireflies, finally have finished very first our CD. It will be out in October. SO exciting!!

Vacation, vacation, vacation!!

Now I’m home from a small vacation with my boyfriend, just here in Denmark. We visited a place called “Skandinavisk Dyrepark”. On their homepage they translate it to “Scandinavian Wildlife Park”, so let us just call it that. As the name says, it’s a park where you can go see a lot of the animals who live in the Scandinavian. It was really exciting to see and the weather was w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l. Here is some pictures from the visit:

Home from Paris.... :)

Now I’m home from a great weekend in Paris, France. I saw a lot of exciting and beautiful places and I must say, that Paris is a wonderful city with a lot of nice people and interesting places.
The biggest and funniest I saw was the Eiffel tower. It was SO high!! Me and my mom got all the way to the top. What a view you have from there. And it felt totally untrue standing right there next to it. Really fascinating!

It’s weird how different things can be if you just fly in 2 hours. The weather, the food, people, the buildings. Everything is so different. The only thing who is the same all over is Coca Cola. But I don’t like that, so it doesn’t mean anything to me. Hehe :D

The hotel we lived at was great. Small cozy rooms with French balconies just like in movies, and it only took minutes in a metro to go to the centrum of Paris. It really couldn't be better.

If it's possible for me, I wish learning French some day. Beautiful language - but really hard to understand!!

Paris tomorrow!!!

Hi. Tomorrow morning I'm going to Paris. I can't wait!! We are gonna stay at a hotel called "Comfort Hotel Saint Pierre", and it looks great.

And hey.. I have uploaded a new cover on YouTube today. It's a Danish song by a Danish and very famous singer right now, called Medina. This song is called "Ensom" ("Lonely" in English"). Actualy I am not so crazy about the lyrics because it's about a boy who broke up with her girlfriend, because he did't thought it worked out any longer. And then the girl says that she hopes that the boy is lonely without her, and that he shouldn't have broke up with her. Well.. She wants him to feel pain over breaking up with her.
And if I should get deeper into the text, I actually think she feels so bad and sorry not being with him, and wish him back. That's maybe why she hopes that he doesn't feel good without her.

Studiotime!

Hello eveyone..
Yesterday and today and tomorrow I'm in the syudio with The Fireflies.. Look:

The guy who's sitting there, is the one who controle the sound, and Mathilde is in the vocal-box singing her parts. And Julia is writing her diary I think.

The weather in Denmark is so great right now. So sad I can't be outside in the sunshine, but I still enjoy recording songs inside the studio. So that's not a problem :D

Well. I hope I can make a YouTube cover really soon. But in about a week I'm going to PARIS!!!.. Yay. For 3 days. I can't wait. If you think there is something I HAVE to see, you are welcome to write it to me!!

Heeey

The weather here in Denmark was SO great today. The sun was shining – but not so much to get burned. Phew!
My brother’s girlfriend got finish with her “high school” (but here in Denmark it’s called something else I don’t know how to translate to English). Anyway… It was a good day with a lot of great food and nice people.

In the next week I am going to Copenhagen (capital of Denmark) to record 2 more songs to our album with The Fireflies. Being in studio with these girls is one of the best things in the world. Sometimes you are in the box singing and sometimes you are eating chips and sometimes you are just talking with the nice people in the studio, and listen to all the good music coming out of the speakers. Great!

And I received my new shoes today!!!! Weee….. (And you also got my whole living room to see).
Look…

I’m still not done with finding out how my blog is going to look. But I think I’m on the right way.

Layout-changes

Dear Everybody..

As you maybe have seen, I’m trying to change my layout both here on my blog and on my YouTube-channel.
But unfortunately I don’t know that much about computers and internet sites, so I think it will take a little time, before I get the right combination of everything I want. Just be patience with me and all this changing around. I’m trying my best.
I get tired of the pink theme even though I still love the color a lot. But now I’m in a blue phase I think, which reminds me of that I just bought some new shoes so I can look great when I’m out performing with my group The Fireflies. Check them out.. aren’t they cool? They seem a little high, but I have to learn walk in them!!

Hey Everybody

I have good news. Actually I kinda already told you in the subject, but, there I’m gonna upload a new cover really soon. It is taped and almost ready, but I need a program to make it fine so it can get on YouTube.
It’s a song called “Over my head” by The Fray. I have made songs by The Fray before and I really like their style. One of the old covers I have made is “How To Save A Life”

The next 3 days I’m going to the studio to record some songs with The Fireflies. I can’t wait to do that. Being in the studio is one of the best things in the whole world! Singing all day in 3 days!! WEHU!! And being with my two group members. They are so sweet.

It's her... It's Useless...

Now the musicvideo is here. I really hope you like it.

It was so funny to make a musicvideo. A REAL musicvideo. I really felt I was a superstar while making it.
We went to a summerhouse (I don't know if there is another word for that. A house where you only live in the summer periode). Anyway. We were ther at seven o'clock in the morning, and started to film outside. It was sooooo cold, but I tried not to show it. Hehe.
And about elleven o'clock in the night we were done, and I could take with the train home to my bed, (it took 3 hours)and sleep to the next day. I think we had a really productive day there.

Hey there.

I was so happy when I saw that some people still are looking out for my blog.
I will really try keep in touch again from now on.

So.. today I'm going to the Capital of Denmark - Copenhagen. I have to meet with The Fireflies and practice some songs, 'cause tomorrow we are going to do an interview with the Danish MTV, and they want us to sing.
We have to make an interview with them because our first MUSICVIDEO is out in very few days. I will put a link here when it's on YouTube. The musicvideo is for our very first single "It's Useless". (You can hear the song in an acoustic live version in a Danish television-show below - I'm singing thesecond verse)

I actually want to thank all you who have watched my videos and read my blog. I wouldn't have been hear today if it wasn't for you. You gave me strength en power to follow my dream as a singer. I still haven't reach the top, but I also think that I never will. I can always fight more and more and be better end better.

Can't wait to show you the musicvideo and the original version. You can find the original version on YouTube now, but not with out musicvideo.

I'M HERE!!! ARE YOU THERE???

Allright. I’ll have to admit that all of you deserve the biggest ”SORRY” in the whole world. And I guess that’s even not enough.
Everyday since I posted my last update in here, I wanted to write something to you about my life right now.

First I want to say that all who watch my videos and comment them, still mean so much to me. I look on YouTube everyday to see what people think. And every day it makes me so happy to see that people still watch my videos and commenting them.

The different from January and now is, that I’m not longer just Henriette who likes to sing in her spare time and upload covers. Now I’m Henritte from a group called “The Fireflies”. I’m not going to school anymore. I’m only working with this group.
It’s very exciting and I like it a lot. But I really do have bad conscience over not writing to you at all.
It’s like I have just thrown you away – but I don’t. I remember you, and I miss you.

If you want to know more about “The Fireflies”, you can go to www.fireflies.dk , or search on “The Fireflies fra X Factor” in Facebook. Everything is in Danish because we’ve got a lot of kids who are fans, and they don’t understand English. Time is running from me - oh no!

Hi !!

Well, the time is running fast. I have been making 3 videos since my last post here on my blog.
The lates one is "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon:

I cut the c-part of of this song, because I think it does not fit into this song at all.
I'm sorry if someone miss this part in the song, but I really didn't liked it.

As you maybe can hear, the sound is a bit difficult from all my other videos. I thougt that it would kind of "complete" the song, to add a bit echo. I guess my brother thought it sounded weird. Hehe :)

The next three says I won't be able to be online so much, because I'm on a little trip to the capital, here in Denmark.

Wow. I have only been away for 2 days, and when I got home, I had over 25 new comments on my YouTube-videos. I can not wait to start answering them!! That is so amazing! Can’t believe that people have so many nice things to say to me. I appreciate every comment and every message. You are all helping me so much to move forward! Thanks!

A lot of people has been giving me requests, and of course I want to do them all, but I really do not have so much time. That is so sad. Sometimes I just wish that a day could be 48 hours. Then I could play so much more music. Would that be awesome, or what? :)

I hope you all enjoy the beginning of the new yar, and still is holding on to your new year-continues. You can do it!!

My story..

So.. this is going to be a very looong post. I hope you will read it.

I thought that maybe you would like to know somthing about my background. First just what I have been doing whit my life untill now – very boradly. And then how long and much I have been singing in my life.

1991 (October 30th): I was born. Hurray.
1992 – 1993: Creche.
1993 - 1997: Kindergarden.
1997 – 2007: Primary School. 2 different schools actually. I changed school in 6th class.
2007 – 2009: Worked first at a stock for a year, and then in a supermarket.
2009 – now: Production School. A lot of people do not know what that is. It’s a place you can go for a year, if you have nothing else to do, or if you are waiting to go for a education, or if you have some problems and don’t fit in other places, or if you can’t handle a normal school or work, or if you just want to do something else then regular school for a while.
I’m there because I get tired at working, had some problems with who I really were as a person, and wanted to do something more with my music. At the production school there is a workshop called ”music”, where I can go all the day from 8 – 3 and play music in a band. I couldn’t be more happy for going there.
I have developed myself in many ways, learned a lot about people and life. And of course I have learned a lot about music! :)

I remember in kindergarden I really liked to sing, and I here is 2 pictures of me when I was a tiny tiny girl, with a micropfone in my hand.

When I started in school, I also started singing in choir. Almost all the girls from my class did it, and it felt really natural and real for me. In third grade a lot of the girls from my class jumped out of the choir. But me and a few other girls continued in another choir.

Then in sixth grade when I moved to another school, I also started singing in a new choir. That was great, and we went traveling to Sweden once, to perform. I sang in that choir untill I were 14 and went into the eighth grade (my second last year at school), then I started having private tuition instead of singing in choir.
That was so much better for me. I learned a lot of techniques, and learned what songs I really liked to sing.
I learned to sing like that person I am and it opened my eyes for how important singing was to me. I performed 2-3 times alone on stage for a bunch of people, and learned to be a singer, and not just a vokal in a choir.

Now comes the sad part of the story. I finally ended my school, and had to figure out something to do.
I started to work and could not get my singing hours to fit with my work hours so I could no longer go to this privat tuition.
I worked and worked and worked, and started to miss singing so much. Of course I still sang when I was at my home, but I still missed spending more time and energy on my singing.

And now the good part of the story shows up. I bought a guitar, learned how to play it, started at the procuktion school, created my YouTube-channel and scratched on!!

I have always heard this ”resistance makes you stronger”, and finaly I understood the meaning of it.
Missing singing so much, made me do all these YouTube-videos and really enjoy making them.
I’m happy for what I have done untill now, even though it may not seems like much. I only see it going one way – forward!!

Hi YouTube/Internet/Life-sharing-friends!! The last day of the year of 2009… exiting. I want to close this year with a song – of course ;-)

The song I decided to play is Fireflies by Owl City. I selected this song because I think it’s funny to make this over-high-technology-edited song to a simple acoustic song, and see what the result would be.
Like in real life.. Everything does not always have to be so complicated, beautiful and time-stealing.
Sometimes you just have to do things simple, easy and let the first shot be the ending result.

My last message this year would be:

Take care of yourself and your nearest, have fun, do some crazy things, talk to strangers in the supermarket, smile to everyone you meet. Do whatever you want, just be happy – and keep watching my videos :)

Well.. Most of the evening I have answered comments on YouTube, and mails. That was a tough dose, but still really great to read all the sweet comments from you and other people.

A lot of exciting things has happen to me the last few weeks. I also had to cancel making a Christmas song because I really do not have time.
I won’t upload so many videos on YouTube the future weeks (maybe monthes), because I’m working with a very exciting project. I can’t tell you what it is yet, but I promise you that you will know soon! :)

Hi again!

Long time ago. I have been pretty unlucky the last time. First I cut my fingers and couldn’t play guitar for about a whole week!! That was simply horrible. Then I got sick for a couple of days, and then I had no Internet in 3 days!!. Not great.
And I couldn’t practice any songs because I need the Internet to find the chords and listen to the song I want to cover.
Fortunately one good thing is happening right now. From now and till Christmas, my class in school (who also is my band), is out performing on other schools in Demark. That is so cool!! I’m one o the lead-singers, together with 2-3 other. I think I learn a lot by standing in front of a lot of people and perform. Now I’m really shy, but I can feel that it’s getting better with the time! :)

Hey there. Long time ago. A lot of things have happened to me over the last few weeks. I went to audition for X Factor here in Denmark, and it went pretty good for a time. But now I’m not a part of it anymore.
It was fun to try even though there were a lot of waiting. The last day where they sent me home, I waited for 12 hours!!

Anyway. I have been uploading a new video called “Perfect” by Sara Evans. About a year ago, I recorded another song by her called “Born to fly”. You can check that one out also if you want to on YouTube.

Now there is less than 2 months till Christmas. Yay. That means it is time for CHRISTMAS-SONGS!
I haven’t decided which songs I’m going to sing yet. But I’m pretty sure that one of them is going to be a Danish song.

Only Hope!

The next song was not ”Goodbye” as I said. I had a lot of troubles with that song, so I choose to do another song first, and go back to “Goodbye” in a while.

The new song “Only Hope”, is a song I have known for a while. When I heard the original version in the movie “A Walk To Remember” for the first time, I just fell in love with it, and promised myself to sing it sometime. That’s a year ago, I guess. And finally I recorded it.

Hello Everybody

Long time ago. I want to tell you what’s going on right now. I’m practicing “Goodbye” by Miley Cyrus. But so far, I have tried to record it 49 times, and NONE of them were good enough. I don’t know when it’s gonna work out for me. Maybe this is just a bad song for me – but I WILL do it!

Another thing I want to tell you is that my hair has getting longer!! And now you probably think: becomes everyone's hair not longer?
And the answer is “yes”, but not so fast. This method is called “Extension”. You can see it in my next video! ;-)

Now I’ll go enjoy my fall-holiday!! YAY.

I figured the hard chords out. Maybe you can see/hear when they come. But I think I learned them pretty well.
It’s a good song, and a lot of people know it. So I really hope I can live up to their expectations. It’s always more dangerous to play a song everybody knows, than a song only few people know.

Anyway. I’ve also uploaded another song played in the plucking pattern way. It’s called “Butterfly Fly Away”. It’s another song by Miley Cyrus. It’s really beautiful, and I love singing it. It is actually so beautiful, that my brother thought it was boring. LOL.

Hi Everybody.

My fingerplay is just getting better and better. I’m so happy for that.
I’m already practicing a new song in that way, because I really start to know how to do it. YAY!!

But before you get to here another song in fingerplay, I have to upload “San Francisco” as I promised a couple of people – I don’t want to disappoint you ;) .. Specially not you, Sweedish-Niclas :D

I also have good news to tell you!! A producer from the city I’m living in contacted me yesterday to hear if I were interested in help from him. Then I told him that I would always love to get some help with my music. And then he promised me that he would look for a songwriter to me, so I could play something original.
There will probably go some time, but I’m really excited to see if he can figure something out :)

Another thing: Have you all heard about that “new” British girl called Pixie Lott. Aww, she is awesome!
My cover called “Mamma Do” is original by her. She was visiting Denmark for a couple of days ago, and she told a little bit of herself in an interview in the television. She seems cool, and she is only 18 years old!!! That’s almost the same age as me. I want hide that I really adore her! She got the star-quality!!

Well, that was all I had to tell today.

Fingerplay - FINALLY!!!

Hello.

Finally I got time to tell about my newest video – No One by Alicia Keys.
It’s very big for me, because I play it in a way called ‘plucking pattern’ instead of ‘strumming pattern’, which I’m used to.
Plucking pattern is the same as fingerplay, jut so you know. It’s looks so easy when someone who’s good at it, play in that way. But for me it was a really really really long and painful war to get this song ready.
I don’t know if you remember, but before I get to New York, I showed you a little clip of this song – No One – and promised it will be ready really soon. But unfortunately it was a little bit more difficult than I thought.

That was also why I made some ‘Deleted Scenes’ in the end. To show you that it was fun, and I enjoyed playing the song – but it was also very hard and very difficult.

My voice in the song is not the best, because I focused a lot on playing the song correctly – hopefully it will be better in time ;-)

Last time I talked about a song called ‘San Francisco’ – It’s still on its way. I have some chords I’m fighting with, but it will be ok in a while.

I want to tell you about the weather in Denmark right now, because it’s actually pretty good. Not much wind and the sun are shining most of the day with very few clouds – brilliant!

I still appreciate your comments and supporting. The first thing I do in the morning is to check my mail, and see if anyone has giving me a comment. And that’s also the last thing I do before I go to bed.

Another Miley Cyrus-cover!!

So this time I made another Miley Cyrus-cover. Or actually it’s a song by Cheyenne Kimball, but I know the song from Miley. I like a lot of her songs, but unfortunately I think it’s not very often her songs suits my voice. I just had to play this song, because the melody is so beautiful!

The next song is hopefully going to be "San Francisco" by Scott McKenzie. I’m really excited about how that’s going to be. But I hope it will be good. There is a chord called “B minor” in the song, and it’s so difficult for me to hold my fingers in that way to play it, so I need a little practice first.

Does some of you remember my cover of Connells called "74' 75" ?
Well, if you do remember, AND if you liked it, I guess this would also be a song you would like - my newest upload: How To Save A Life by The Fray.

I liked singing and playing this song because it was difficult and easy at the same time. I mean.. It was interesting!

I changed the key a little in the first part of every vers. And the reason why I did that is simply that it was way to deep for me to sing else. (:

UH, AND ALSO.. If you wanna see what song we are working with in my school right now, take a look at this video. I now the quality isn't really good. But it was just one of my classmates who really spontanous tried to record it.
It's really cool to play with a band. And in this video I'm singing and playin guitar (even though it's not easy to see because the guitar is black and so is the background). Bass and electric guitar is played by to of my classmates. The drums are played by my teacher, and the girl who sings the secondvoices is one of my classmates too. I hope you can here it! :)

I have had a lot of time to make some videos to YouTube, because I have had free from school the last 3 days. All the pupils had that. That's great, but also a LITTLE boring. (I know that all I just wrote sounds stupid - but I really couldn't figure out how else to write is).

Anyway, it's good that I always can sing and play some guitar. yay!
Another 2 videos has been uploaded yesterday. It's "Lucky" by Britney Spears and "Mamma Do" by Pixie Lott. I love the lyrics in both songs. They are really well-written.

"Lucky" is a very old song, but after Britney Spears get into a big crisis, I think the song really tarted to mean something - it's not just a song, if you understand what I mean.

"Mamma Do" is specially in that way, that Pixie Lott, who's singing it, also is a teenager. I think she is 18. The lyric in that song is a little funny, I think. Before anyone start to think something I just wanna say that I CAN NOT relate to the lyrics ;)

A new song.. again. Yay!

Well, I'm already up with a new song.

I choose this song because I liked the original SO much. Actually I wanted to make a version with the original music, but then I tried to play it on my guitar and found that way to play it really interesting too. Maybe I will make another version someday.

I can tell you guys what music we are playing in my school. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'll tell you very short;
I'm going in a school where what we do is playing music. And that's it. Very simple.
In a couple of months when we are getting good, we have to perform different places.
And that's why we now exert ourselves to these songs:

The Climb - Miley Cyrus (MY CHOICE - and everyone in my class hate me for choosing that song. LOL)

As you can see, the 3 first songs is not what I'm used to play, and in the beginning, I had much difficulty in accepting these song choices. But I had to!!
Fortunately my teacher let me choose a song I really like, and that's "The Climb".
And that's hard for the other to accept, because they don't like that kind of music. But I do. LOL :D

HEY!! I'm back.. I really am.

I figured out, that the song called "No One" still is SO hard for me to sing and play, so I'm going to wait with that one for a while.

If you didn't noticed, I actually have uploaded a new song on YouTube - finally!

One of my brother's friends requested this song called "No Time To Sleep" by a Danish artist called Tina Dickow, and I thought "Okay, Henriette, now you have to play a song!!", so I did.

I still wanna do "No One" by Alicia Keys, but first when I really am able to play it. Untill, I will upload some other songs :)

Things are getting back to normally. Really soon. Right now I’m busy by learning new chords in my school. It’s important that I learn them really fast so the other member of the band don’t have to wait to long.
Also there is a festival in my city right now, so I haven’t been home a lot of the time this week.
People keep asking me “When do you upload a new song?.. when do you upload a new song?”
And my answer to that question is “I don’t know – when I get time.”
So I hope you guys do have a little patience.

Now it's REALLY long time ago since I last uploaded a video. And I'm very sorry for that. The only explanation is, that I have been on vacation. But before I left to New York, I tried to make a video, so you guys would have some to look at while I was gone ;-).
But, as said before, I mess up the same place everytime - really, EVERYTIME.

I suck at computers. The other day I made a DVD with all the pictures from the NY-trip, to my dad, and send it to him. And when he recieved it, the DVD was empty. Well done, Henry!

And now I have sitting for hours to remember how to opload pictures into this blog. AND FINALLY, I saw a little icon with a picture on, and suddenly I remember how to do. Great!

I’m back from New York City, and finally I got time to write on my blog again.
I had a ‘FANTASTICO’ trip. Everything was really good. The weather, the food, the flight, the activities and so on.

I forgot how to put pictures into this site. When I have found out, I will show you some pictures of me in New York :)

And now it’s also very long time ago since I uploaded my last video on YouTube.. I hope I can upload “No One” by Alicia Keys very soon!!

This is the third and last week of my holiday, so on Monday I am going to school again. Yay!
But I’m not going to play any music in the school next week, because my teacher still is on vacation. But the week after that it’s going to be fun!!

Yesterday I was trying for 4 hours to record a song for you to upload to YouTube. But I messed it up the same place EVERYTIME. So I can first do it when I come back from New York. But.. I can tell you that you really can look forward to it. It’s No One by Alicia keys.. as FINGERPLAY!!
In my opinion it sounds so beautiful when it’s played in that way. I look forward to upload it, and hear your opinion about my fingerplay :)

I have holiday right now. For 3 whole weeks!! it’s a bit boring, but also very good. Just so you know ;)

For a couple of weeks ago, I was writing which songs I was about to sing. Everything I do, Colors of the Wind, Always, The Climb and Hallelujah among other things.
I did some of them. Yay.
So now I am still practicing the finger play to Hallelujah, and I think it’s moving forward. Also I am waiting for Oscar to make the instrumental version of The Climb. Now there is only a day until I get vacation from school. Wuhu. In this week we have just making funny things like going to the beach, taking a bicycle ride, watching some sculptures outside and so on. Very funny, and the sun has been shining the whole time. Couldn’t be better.
As you maybe have seen, I have made a new vide; Colors of the Wind.
I think that one turned out very well.

I have practiced “You’re not Sorry” by Taylor Swift, but have a little troubles with the chord called “f”. It’s a bit complicated – in my opinion – so I have to play it a lot of times before I can do it well enough and upload it to YouTube.

My Chilean friend, Oscar, is doing “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus, and I am going to sing that one.
If some of you think “Haven’t you sung it before?” – I can tell you, Yes!, but in an acoustic version with my guitar. This time it will be a studio version ;)

HI!! It's so long time ago that I almost had forgotten my password to this side. LOL.
I have been busy in school because I had to perform songs where I should play guitar and sing, for all the students at my school. It was fun, and it went very well. Now there is only a week until I get vacation for 3 weeks. And that means there is only 2 weeks till I am going to New York. Yay!!!!
Today I get Always by Bon Jovi recorded. I guess it will be uploaded tomorrow, when we (Oscar and I) have finished the video to it also.

Another great thing is that the summer is finally here in Denmark. The weather is brilliant!!

I had a great day in school. I was alone most of the time, so I made a lots fingerplay-exersices.
It is damn hard!! I never think I’m going to learn it totally (.. easy, I know I will sometime).

Home sweet home!

YAY! I’m finally home from the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen. I had a good trip, and saw a lot of funny people. The people are very different 300 km away. And the streets are too.
We had rain the most of the time, but that doesn’t matter so much, because I was with some nice people.

While I was in Copenhagen, I really missed my guitar. Now I haven’t been playing for about a week. I want to upload a new video as soon as possible.
I think it’s going to be “Red Red Wine” by Bob Marley. It’s not my style, but it was a request, so I thought I would try it. It’s just a little exiting.

Hi everyone!!

I have been uploaded a new song on YouTube. And I used my new guitar for the first time. I am sooooooooo in love with it, because I think it looks so beautiful.

I’m still not done with “My Immortal” by Evanescence – it will come. But tomorrow I think I will record another song from Taylor Swift called “Invisible”. That song tells a great story about a girl who likes a boy who has a girlfriend and has no idea about the other girl, which means that she is invisible to him. Very briefly.

In the following week I’m not going to post so many videos on YouTube, because I’m going on a trip for 3 or 4 days. Just so you know ;)

Love Story-updates!

Today was boring - but still great. I went to a studio with my class, where some guys were supposed to teach us something about mixing songs, but it didn’t went well, because they didn’t say so much about it.
So we just looked at them mixing songs for 5 hours. Not really instructive, but I had a great time with my class-mates, and as a bonus we had to get home before we actually should have.
Anyway.. LOVE STORY IS DONE!! We only need to make the movie, and then I will upload it to YouTube. I guess it will be tomorrow, if all goes according to the plan.

My next project is.. of course “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift. I owe my aunt that.
I don’t know exactly when I expect it to be done. Hopefully before I go to the capital of Denmark with my school, in the beginning of next week.

It's so late now..

Today was a great day. The clock is 2 in the night, and I’m still up (It’s good my mom never watches this page. Lol). But the reason I stayed up this late is because this Oscar Medina from Chile wanted to make a video-call with me over Skype. That was really funny.
He played a lot of song to me on his guitar. He is so good at that guitar-stuff. It’s unbelievable.
And actually he made the finish instrumental version of Love Story for me today. Now I just have to record my vocal, and taaadaaaa.. It’s done! :)

And another funny thing I wanna tell you is.. LOOK… Marc from YouTube made a cover of mine cover. Isn’t that great? I think. Big step for me!!

I woke up this morning and saw an email in my inbox from my aunt, where she showed me a blog by a woman named Tammy Jo. What I saw on her blog was incredible.
She seems to be a big big big fan of me. YAY!!

Also I received 3 beautiful necklaces from my aunt yesterday! I promised her to sing “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift, so I’m gonna do that as soon as possible.

I still like my new school. It’s very relaxing out there.
I’m just learning new songs on my guitar all day. That means my fingers HURTS SO MUCH!!
Fortunately we are going to have a little holiday now on 6 days.. jubii..
I’m not playing in their band yet, but it will come.
Soon the guy from Chile is ready with an instrumental-version of Love Story by Taylor Swift. I look forward to sing that song.

But look what I made today.. This song did I play in the school for my class today, so I thought I would play it for you guys too.

Tomorrow I’m gonna sing and play Wonderwall by Oasis for you. It’s a great song I also played in school today.

In the weekend I was visiting my grandmother, and she gave me a really big “The Betales”-songbook with 203 songs in. And there are guitar-chords to every single song.
So now I have to learn a couple of The Beatles song. That will be a bit interesting.
Yesterday (Monday) I started at a new school. I liked it very much. The only things we are doing the whole day, are playing music – and get paid for it!!
Some can play drums, some can play keyboard, some can play bass, some can sing and some can play guitar. How great is that?
I have never played in a band before. So that is going to be fun.

Today I got these two songs I wrote about yesterday, uploaded. Yay! Still not the right songs for me, but I think it was okay, anyway.
Now I’m working on a song called “Closer” by NeYo. I wanna do it in a studio-version without guitar. Singing only.
And then I promised my dad’s sister from the USA to sing “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift, because she made me some necklaces. I have only heard it a couple of times before, so I have to learn it first. But I can tell you now, that I like the song very much!

About a couple of weeks I’m going to sing “Love Story” by Taylor Swift too. A guy from Chile wants to make me the instrumental-version of this song. He is incredible at playing guitar.

Aaaww my fingers!!

The other day I said that my fingers needed a little break from the guitar. But do you know what? They didn’t get a break. I tried to put my guitar into my closet to keep it away from my eyes, so I wouldn’t want to play it. But it didn’t help. And now my fingers really hurt! They are all blue and frayed. Aaww!
In return I get to load up some new videos on YouTube (www.youtube.com/danyaamusic). I did play two more videos which I didn’t upload on YouTube, because they were too bad. I gotta play them again another day when my fingers don’t hurt so much. If you wanna know which ones it was, I can tell you.
1.: Baby Can I Hold You Tonight by Tracy Chapman
2.: When You Look Me In The Eyes by Jonas Brothers
They are both great songs, but a bit difficult for me to sing. I will do them anyway :-)

I have got really great comments from my friends and family for the new Britney-song that I uploaded.
I think it’s pretty cool to. But the sound isn’t so good, because there were something wrong with my microphone that I couldn’t fix.

My next big step is going to be learning finger-play on my guitar. That is really difficult, and you really have to be patient. But I HAVE to learn it to be a better guitar-player.
The song I am practicing for my finger play is “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys.

Now it’s almost weekend. So have a nice weekend when it comes to that!

I DID IT. I BOUGHT A NEW GUITAR YESTERDAY!!
It is so cool. I had looked at a lot of guitars, and thought that they all looked so ugly and non-feminine. And then.. there it were. Shining up the whole room (I gotta tell you – that was a really difficult sense to write, and I guess it still isn’t correct. First I wrote “Brighting the whole room up”, then I wrote “Brightened up the whole room”, and then I wrote “Shined up the whole room”… but whatever). It was my guitar! A black and a very fine one. YAY!

I played at it all yesterday, so I really think my fingers need a little break from the strings today – but just today. I can’t handle being away from my guitar longer than a day, maybe two.
If it weren’t because I’m such a dork at websites, I would have shown you a picture of it.
Hmm. I gotta think how to do that..
When I have figured out how to get a picture in here, I will show you my new guitar (:

Maybe I will record a song today without my guitar. You know, with a backing-track instead of.
I have a little Britney Spears in my mind.. maybe. Or Taylor Swift?

I'm just writing and writing and writing..

I was just looking at my blog and thought “How the hell can I write SO MUCH about myself in a different language than what I normally speaks?”
And after a long times thinking, I still don’t know why. But maybe I should show my old English-teacher this site, so she can see that I’m not that hopeless at English as I used to be. LOL :)

But anyway.. Not so much has happening since yesterday evening, and yet..

It’s funny like things changes. When I first recorded “China in Your Hand” (as you can see below), I really didn’t liked it. I didn’t like the rhythm, the key and the lyrics. But now, I think it’s some of the best songs I have ever did. And after I start liking the melody of the song, it was like the lyrics made more sense to me.
On YouTube it has got about 800 views and a lots of “5-stars-rating”. So I think people like it.

Yesterday I was talking with Kim Sagild (a Danish famous musician), and I think he was a good man. I mean that he seemed to be good at a lot of music-stuff. He offered me a place on a school, where I can du music with him all the day – and get paid for it!
I had to think about it in this weekend before I said yes, but it sounds like a great opportunity for me.

Today I was out looking on a new guitar with my dad. Yay! I want a guitar with pick-up, and it’s going to be black (Because I think it looks cool). I haven’t decided exactly which one I’m going to pick yet, but as soon as I has selected one, I will buy it.
Can’t wait to show you guys my new guitar when I have bought it!!!!

Well, okay.. I have been uploaded a new song tonight.
I was sitting in the car with my dad (on our way to look for a new guitar), when I heard this song in the radio with Miley Cyrus, and totally fell in love with it. So here it is:

Okay. Listen: This is SO great!!
I've been sitting and working with my blog for hours, and is still ongoing. There is some mistakes I shall have fixed here and there. I have been adding a lot of gadgets, which I think is quite interesting.
And then I put a picture of my own eyes in the back of the “Header.”
I’m so proud of myself, because normally I suck at finding out websites and blogs…uh.. and HTML, not to forget (I almost did – even though it is the hardest for me to figure out), and now I’ve been creating my very own side and place. Yay!
I hope that you will take a look at/on (don’t know what to say) my site. Maybe you can tell me what you think? - Although it’s not completely finished yet.

There is something funny about this video. Because I must admit that it took me over 54 times to make it almost fail-free and finished. It was so difficult to play!
And the last time I played it, I almost reach the endning, and then I startet getting nervous, because I was so afraid that I would mess it up in the very endning, but I didn't (not so much at least). Yes! :)

The other day, a friend send me a song called “I’ll Be Missing You” by Puff Daddy. It’s a rap-song, yes.
And normally, I prefer not to hear rap songs because I never have time to hear what they sing, because they are singing so fast. But I found the lyrics, and read it while the song was playing. And I must admit that it made me cry.
My friend said to me, that this song reminds him of an old friend who killed himself. Then I told him, that things like that also contains good thing. And he said “How can you say that?” after which I replied “Haven’t you learned to miss? Haven’t you learn to appreciate the present moment that you’re living? Haven’t you learned to take more care of your friend and family?” And then we both saw everything a bit different and in a brighter light. It was great!
If you’ve ever lost someone, you can try listening to that song by searching on YouTube for the song and use Google for the lyrics.

Well. Now some great news: On Friday I’m going to talk with a Danish professional musician, named Kim Sagild. I’m so excited about that. Maybe he can put me together with other people who also like working with music?

About Carl Harris song, I told I would upload in the begging of this week, but I couldn’t do it because of the time :(

Back from the weekend..

Hi eveybody.

My weekend has been great. First I was visiting my dad, and then I was visiting my brother. So I haven't been home the whole weekend. It was really hard to be away from my computer for so long. LOL :)

I have been oploaded a new video called "I'm only me when I'm with you". It is one of Taylor Swift's songs. You can take a look at it, on www.youtube.com/danyaamusic if you already haven't ofcourse.

Before I was going to my dad in the first part of the weekend, I was trying to play another song by Taylor Swift called "Breathe". But I couldn't opload it to YouTube because of the time.
I was really sad about that. I was so anxious to get it uploaded before I went away, that I almost was late to my dad. And my fingers hurted so much, that I had to stop playing, and take away. :(

But in the bright light: Now, my fingers had a small break from the guitar and I am again ready to play "Breathe" really good. So look forward to that, guys!

"Oh, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.."

As some of you maybe know, I did “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cindy Lauper the other day.
I picked this song because the melody is so happy, and the lyrics really speaks to me.
Some people liked it, and some didn’t. That’s just fine by me.
The most important to me with this song was that it had to be fun for me to play it. And do you know what? It was SO fun.
I had to do it over and over again, because I always got to laugh when I was a little into the song.

Every time I'm selecting a song, I attach great importance that I like working with it. Otherwise, the result is simply not good.

Uh, here is the reason why I put some drums on the song:
Earlier that day my brother and his girlfriend (Kristine) was visiting me. And then Kristine started playing at my keyboard, which I never use, because I don’t know how to play on it.
It’s a very fancy keyboard, and she was sitting and playing with all the different sounds it could make - including the drum-sounds.
When they got home again, and I was alone, it just pop up in my head, that “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” would sound good and fun with some drums and a guitar. Tadaaaaaa. :)

Today I'm in a F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C good mood - and I even don't know why. But I know that it isn't because of the weather, cause it is rainging and blowing here.

I have had a lots of request to do some Shania Twain songs.
I like the idea, because I think that Shania Twain’s songs is absolutely amazing. Not only the melody of the songs, also the lyrics. I will definitely do some of her songs very soon!

Today I woke up and thought “Hey, what is this blog really about?”, so I decided to tell you why I made this blog, and what my intension with it is.

I made it up, so people who like listen and watching my videos on YouTube, could follow me in my daily life, and would be able to know what my next step would be in my music-life.
I haven't found the rhythm yet on this site. And with it, I mean that I'm still not quite sure how I'm supposed to move around on this website. It's kind confusing. It will be better - but it's still not good enough.
By the way: If some of you guys out there don't understand what I'm writing, please tell me, so I can make myself intelligible till next time and in the future.

Hard time for me..

Hi again.
So long time, since I've been writing to you. I have been missing you.
I have practiced my English a little - ONLY A LITTLE.
I still need a lot of training, but hopefully it will come.
Today I went to my work.. and quit. Yes, it's right. Sad story, but I had to.
I've been thinking a lot of it, and decided that it was the right thing to do.
Enough about that.

Weekend

Hi.

Today the sun has been shining the whole day - but there was also a lots of wind :(
I have been taking care of on of my dogs this night and played a lot guitar. Tomorrow I'm going to play even more guitar, while I'm taking care og both of my dogs. It's going to be a great day!

There is absolutely nothing in TV tonight, so I'm just listening to the Danish singer/song-writer, Tina Dickow. She is absolutely amazing, and pretty to. I think she is my new idol.

Well. I have got a lot of good comments on my performance the other day. It is so great to hear from people what they think about it. I am already looking forward to do it again next year ;)

Today I.. no.. I don't wanna talk about my work. It suck's anyway.

Today was my first day at my new job at McDonald's, and it didn't went well. I messed it totally up.

A Great Big Love - Almost done!

As the title says: I'm almost done with me and Carls' new song. It is so great.
I've spend the whole day to sit and sing and play it.

I think it will be oploaded about a couple of days on YouTube. Yaaay!
I'm so thankfull for my space-friend Carl, because he wrote this to me. And another song too + more.

Between, people seem to like my own original song, even though it wasn't supposed to turn in that way. But it's just great.

I'm just happy :)

In the weekend I've been taking care of my to adorable Border Collies (dogs). We just had a great time, and the weather couldn't be better!

The mail-man came with my new videocamera the other day, and I'm so happy for it. It was all the money worth.
